The course starts by a review of industrial control systems before focusing on the PLC. It will then concentrate on the PLC configuration and operation. PLC hardware is dealt with to some extend for participants to be able to do wiring and understand some essential internal input and output PLC circuitry. Ladder logic, LD, as the programming platform using XG500 software will be covered in detail. Simulation using XG5000 and debugging is well covered as part of practical work. Participants will work on projects at the end of the training.
