Public Relations Department

Public Relations is a management function meant to achieve the following:
- Building Corporate image through undertaking an effective communication between the Centre and its various publics.
- Establishing mutually beneficial relationship with the same.
- Safeguarding a corporate identity of the company.
- Developing and maintaining links with the Media.
- Producing company profile, annual reports and all literature for the public domain.
- Organising and managing of Corporate Events.
- Showcasing the company and promoting its activities.
- Establishing and maintaining information channels including the company’s website.
- Developing and implementing a Social Media Strategy to publicise the Centre and its activities.

The Public Relations Department also disseminates information through library services which include:

Reference services, internet browsing and services as well as maintaining text; Provision of research journals both online and print; Provision of current daily and weekly local newspapers; Provision of pictorial reference sources.
