The Scientific and Industrial Research and Development Centre (SIRDC), Board, Management and Staff, joins the nation in celebrating the 63rd Birthday and recognising the remarkable philanthropic work of Her Excellency, the First Lady of Zimbabwe, Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa.
Through her unwavering commitment to the well-being of the less privileged and vulnerable members of
society, and through the Angel of Hope Foundation, she has touched countless lives across Zimbabwe.
Her compassion, humility, and dedication to community empowerment continue to inspire hope and
unity among our people. The First Lady has demonstrated a deep sense of care through her established
institutions to address drug and substance abuse. She has gone further in building a society with dignity
by promoting and recognising our cultural heritage through Nhanga/Gota programmes and giving
dignity to the work of our traditional chiefs.
On this special occasion, we celebrate a mother routed in cultural values, a leader, and a champion for the
