With over 20 years of experience in Library and Information Science, Sifiso Mucheki brings exceptional expertise in knowledge management, documentation and records administration to the newly established Records Department. Sifiso began her career in 1996 as a Librarian for the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare. In 2001, she transitioned to the Sports and Recreation Commission where she played a pivotal role in establishing the Sports Commission Library as an Information Officer. In 2004, she joined the Scientific and Industrial Research and Development Centre (SIRDC) as Assistant Librarian, and steadily advanced through the ranks to her current leadership position. Beyond her professional pursuits, Sifiso enjoys traveling with her family, writing poetry, and immersing herself in literature especially African Literature.
