Gilbert Mucheri

Mr Gilbert Mucheri is a holder of a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Zimbabwe and a Bachelors Degree in Business Studies Marketing (Hons) from the same university. He also has a Marketing Diploma form the Institute of Marketing Management (IMM) South Africa. Mr Mucheri is one of the founder members of the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe (MAZ). He has over twenty-three years of working experience with several companies in various capacities. He started his career as a trainee with the Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) in 2002. Between 2003 and 2012, he worked for several companies that include SIRDC, Expo Holdings, Fuldon Services, Metal Sales, Glens Removals and Storage and SGI Group of companies in various roles in operations, sales, marketing (FMCG, Industrial and Services), and public relations. In October 2012 he rejoined SIRDC working as a Marketing Analyst, Marketing Executive and Senior Marketing Analyst before being promoted to his current position. He has vast experience in analysis and development of domestic, regional and international markets. He also has experience in building business cases, as well as analysis, development and commercialization of products.
