Zimbabwe joined the rest of Africa in commemorating the inaugural Africa Data Protection Day. The day was celebrated during the POTRAZ National Consultative Workshop on the Cyber and Data Protection Act guidelines and SI 155 of 2024 amendments on administrative fines. SIRDC was represented at this commemoration and workshop by Data Protection Officer Mr. Njabulo Chitsiko. This reflects SIRDC’s commitment to data governance, compliance, and responsible digital transformation.
