The Vice President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Hon. General (Rtd) Dr. C.D.G.N. Chiwenga, attended the Digital Industry of Industrial Russia (CIPR) conference to unlock 5IR capabilities and promote cross-border collaboration in AI. The Vice President was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including the Minister of ICT, Postal and Courier Services, Hon. T. A. Mavetera, and the Deputy Minister of Energy and Power Development, Hon. Y. Simbanegavi. Also part of the delegation were SIRDC Executive Director Technical, Prof. Tawanda Mushiri, and Informatics and Artificial Intelligence Institute Director, Eng. Blissful Mamombe, highlighting SIRDC’s role in anchoring Zimbabwe’s digital transformation and industrial innovation.
