Noah Paul

Mr Paul is highly motivated and skilled professional with a passion for translational research and implementation in the field of vaccine development, drug discovery and new diagnostic tools. He is committed to making a positive impact on society. His vision is to contribute to the eradication of diseases and the improvement of drug and vaccine efficacy for the benefit of humanity, utilizing modern techniques to make a positive impact on society. Noah Paul is a highly skilled professional with a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Zimbabwe, specializing in immuno-epidemiology, microbiology, and molecular biology. With over 8 years of experience in the academic and industry interface, Paul has built a strong background in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation. Mr Paul is currently the Director of the Food and Biomedical Technology Institute (FBTI) at the Scientific and Industrial Research and Development Centre (SIRDC). In this role, Paul is responsible for overseeing the daily research and development activities of the institute, leading a team of scientists and technicians. Prior to my current position, Paul worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Zimbabwe, where he taught undergraduate Veterinary students in Biochemistry. Paul has also completed various professional courses, including Implementation Research, One Health in action against Neglected Tropical Diseases, and Infectious Disease Transmission Models for Decision-Makers. He also has a Masters equivalent Course in Vaccinology. Paul has also attended courses on Lumpy Skin Disease, and FMD Investigation that have expanded his knowledge and skills in the field of biomedical research. Mr Paul has contributed to the field of biomedical research, with 8 peer-reviewed publications and presenting at conferences and have had abstracts and posters displayed at various scientific events. Paul is a member of the Pan-African Mosquito Control Association (PAMCA ZWE Chapter), Zimbabwe Nanotechnology Group, Zimbabwe Immunology Society, Federation of African Immunological Societies, and the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Society of Zimbabwe.
