The Geo_Information and Remote Sensing Institute of SIRDC facilitated a 5-day GIS and Remote Sensing short-course at the MSU Zvishavane Campus. The course covered:
• Principles of GIS for Geology
• Coordinate Systems and Map Projections used in Zimbabwe
• GNSS and Georeferenced Field Data Collection
• Remote Sensing of Geology
• Geology Data Analysis
• Design Thematic Maps
The participants came from the mining industry and the University students, for the week of 23-27 September 2019.
