The Human Resources Department operates at a strategic level and its functions involve the following, among others:
- Policy formulation
- Performance management
- Recruitment and Selection of all positions within the Centre from Director level to the lowest member of staff
- Induction of all new employees, including students who come on industrial attachment
- Job evaluation system
- Exit interviews
- Industrial Relations and following up on disciplinary issues
- Training and development of all personnel
- Human Resources Management Information System
- Medical aid and pension administration
- Conducting various surveys from time to time
