The Human Resources Department operates at a strategic level and its functions involve the following, among others:

  • Policy formulation
  • Performance management
  • Recruitment and Selection of all positions within the Centre from Director level to the lowest member of staff
  • Induction of all new employees, including students who come on industrial attachment
  • Job evaluation system
  • Exit interviews
  • Industrial Relations and following up on disciplinary issues
  • Training and development of all personnel
  • Human Resources Management Information System
  • Medical aid and pension administration
  • Conducting various surveys from time to time
